Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement & Media Release
This Release of Liability is entered into by the participant or their legal representative for activities facilitated
by Generation Impact dba Adaptive Impact, including but not limited to paragliding.
I understand that participation in recreational activities carries risks, including serious injury or death. I
voluntarily assume all such risks and release Generation Impact dba Adaptive Impact and its affiliates from
any and all claims, except those resulting from gross negligence as defined under California law.
I acknowledge that the activity may be conducted by a third-party provider, and that I have or will sign a
separate waiver with that provider. I also authorize emergency medical treatment if needed.
This release is governed by the laws of the State of California. If any part is found invalid, the rest remains
enforceable.
I hereby grant Generation Impact dba Adaptive Impact the right to take and use photographs, video footage,
and audio recordings of me (or the participant I represent) in connection with its mission. This includes use in
print and digital media, fundraising, and promotional materials.
I understand that this media may be used without compensation and may be modified, published, or
distributed publicly. This consent is perpetual and may only be revoked in writing going forward.
This release is governed by California law and includes any claims related to privacy or defamation.
